![]() ![]() Remember the Mineralizer can be super useful in this region, allowing you to make rock in far-flung areas of the map you may not have realized you can reach and then add a Turbine there. Then make your next Turbine, hopefully complementing the previous one and expanding across the map. The scanner can then be built to scan the surrounding area in an attempt to discover life to add back to the biome. This requires you to do some work rebuilding the ecosystem first by making the landscape more liveable. It means that there must be a body of water, in which there is a cross of fluid made of two. First, you must gain access to the scanner. You have to find a spot, in which there is at least four-tile of water in straight line, in four way at least radius 4. Place a Turbine, add a Water Pump if required, then place Toxin Scrubbers and Irrigators enough that your Turbine hopefully breaks even. To construct a lake, you must have a wide point of river (it is important, it can’t be a sea) full of water. You may want to read ahead to the animal section in particular now, as some of the habitats can be quite tricky to create if you haven’t planned for them at this early stage. Beyond this, your goal is similar to that in the Temperate Region, only it is tougher to get good value out of your Irrigators due to the large areas of water. You’ll be needing plenty of clean water for the biome and animal stages, plus cleaning it gives you some income, so it’s a win-win. Plant sprawling forests, purify soil and clean polluted oceans to turn a ravaged. ![]() The first thing to realize is that clean water is just as relevant in reaching your initial goal as greenery, so don’t be shy about placing Toxin Scrubbers next to the water.
